I’ve found 3 bugs and I’d like to ask for a basic feature request.

  • I have keybinds that starts with the combination of Ctrl + Shift for a screenshot program called ShareX. So, I noticed that if I invoke any keybinds for that, I can no longer use Striga’s keybinds. Pressing Ctrl + Shift later on fixes it. So I suppose modifier state desyncs due to focus steal by ShareX?

  • On empty canvas, doing two distinct strokes, then undoing twice and redoing twice creates invalid undo state. Afterwards, you can only undo once and never get back to the empty canvas. First stroke becomes the initial undo state.

  • Initial part of initial stroke creates a dip when saved. I don’t know how to describe it, I’ve recorded a video of it. You can also see my struggle with Ctrl + O as I also record video with the same tool with a similar keybinding: https://youtu.be/FpLwv7zON74

As for feature request, would you mind making framerate change in title toggleable sometime in the future? Changes in the environment distracts me, while this one isn’t that distracting, I’d disable it if I could.

Other than that, thanks, solid product (and impressive, considering you developed it in a week).

Is a linux or mac version planned?

Planned but nothing soon.

Nice job, Bill

This is very inspiring from both a programmer and entrepreneur POV.

A bold choice for the default colours!

I'm on WIndows 10 64 bit. Double click the exe but nothing happens?

I'll look into it. I compiled this on Windows 11, but it shouldn't be much of a problem.

What CPU do you have?

AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-Core Processor                 3.50 GHz
